Good planting is what turns a built space into a garden. We choose plants that suit your soil, your light and the Canterbury climate, and we place them with the same care as the stone and timber, so beds read as considered from the first season and only get better with time.

Structure first, softness second. Hedging and screening give a garden its lines and privacy; borders, ground cover and specimen planting bring the movement and colour. We plan for how it will look in year one and in year ten, and we leave you with plants that are easy to live with.
